28 Aug TIDIT goes Vienna
This year, members of our Institute attended the 41st International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2024), held in Vienna, Austria, from July 21-27. ICML is one of the premier conferences in the field, drawing over 7,000 participants from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in machine learning research.
Before the main conference, Prof. Oliver Dürr and PhD candidate Daniel Dold presented their research at the 6th Symposium on Advances in Approximate Bayesian Inference, co-located with ICML. This symposium, held just prior to the conference, focused on developments in Bayesian methods. Their work on a novel Bayesian Approximation method was well-received by the academic community.
This participation underscores our Institute’s ongoing contributions to machine learning and our active engagement with global research initiatives.
