The Thurgau Institute for Digital Transformation was founded by the Thurgau Foundation for Science and Research together with the University of Konstanz and the University of Applied Sciences (HTWG) Konstanz. There are already three other Thurgau affiliated institutes at the universities in Konstanz: the Biotechnology Institute Thurgau (BITg), the Thurgau Business Institute (TWI) and the Institute for Materials Systems Engineering Thurgau (WITg).
