Ziran Lin

PhD Candidate

Ziran Lin is a PhD Candidate in Database System at TIDIT, where her research focuses on data structures and query algorithms for temporal and public transport data. She designs efficient indexing structures and graph-based query algorithms to support advanced query processing for large-scale graph data.

She completed her bachelor's degree in Data Science and Big Data Technology at Tongji University (Shanghai, China) from 2019 to 2023, and her master's degree in Data Science at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) from 2023 to 2026. During her master's studies, her research focused on data structure design and graph query algorithms.

Ziran Lin joined TIDIT in October 2026 as a PhD Candidate in the Database Systems research group.
